Once a huge piece to the puzzle in the Red Sox triumphant 2004 World Series Championship, this 32 year old leadoff hitter has decided to sell his soul to the highest bidder.
This package includes his wife (NY bidders please remember the Anna Benson Deal) Michelle. This Package is very marketable and loves the media. Winner will acquire very hard worker, with little league arm. Soul is defined as "the actuating cause of an individual life", in this case $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Please be advised when purchasing, honor is not available. THERE IS NO RETURN ON THIS SALE. this is not a legitimate auction
I went on both the Yankee and Red Sox message boards after the signing of Damon was announced.
I posted this on the first FR thread I saw about Damon:
On the Yankee boards:Everyone wants a Johnny Damon Yankee jersey.....NOW !!!!!! (so they can PO Red Sox fans.)
If you had any to sell on e-bay and could fulfill all the orders, you would be retired by the weekend, and if you wanted, Jim Rob would never have to worry about FR's finances for the rest of FR's life span ...
On the Red Sox Board:........If I were Johnny Damon, I would IMMEDIATELY take part of my 52 mil contract, and hire some one (for the rest of my life) to start my car.........
Ping. LOL
"Anyone is better than Bernie Williams. Talk about a little league arm."
Williams is not the player he used to be. He is still a class act though.
Yeah, combine the strength of Damon and Bernies arms together and you might actually be able to get the ball into second base on the fly.
LOL!
Bernie's a Yankee legend with some pretty impressive lifetime numbers, including four Gold Gloves and possession of MLB's all-time post-season HR and RBI records. ....and as you mentioned, a class act all the way.
Geez. You'd think BoSox fans- how many hundred years they go without a World Series Win?- you'd think that they just won the Series a couple seasons ago and they'd be happy for at least another fifty or sixty seasons. But nooooo. They're already complaining about minor little things.
Until the Cubbies win the Series I got only one sentiment for the Red Sox and their fans- Shaddup! and enjoy your recent success! You of all fans should know- it can be a long time between successes. The gold paint on your trophy is barely dry. Geez.
Not anymore, the auction got yanked.
Damon goes over to the dark side.
Kerry and Kennedy vs Schumer and Hillary. I don't know...tough call either way.
At least Schumer does not pretend to be a war hero.
