I think you're on to something.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

I think he's on something.

Um, the Book of Beebers has not been cannonized. Stuned, yes, but not cannonized.

Despite the incoherent ramblings of this author, God did not create evil. Devils are fallen angels who chose to reject God, for they, like us, have free will.

Isaiah 45:7. Hebrew Scriptures. The only way it doesn't mean what it says is by clever interpretation.

Um, the Book of Beebers has not been cannonized. Stuned, yes, but not cannonized. Uh, what about the Holy Book of Armaments?

You would keep the Book of Beebers out of the cannon?
Heretic! Come here so that I may smite thee!
Or we could talk about it over coffee. Either way.

Interesting page devoted to the issue;
http://www.carm.org/diff/Isa_45_7.htm
English translation is such a touchy thing.
Many years ago I taught myself Greek to read the NT and was surprised at how different some verses were from those I'd read in the KJV.

Hebrew Scriptures. Nope. KJV.
Not the same thing. In other translations the word is disaster or troubles.

Ok here's my two cents. John chapter one, "By him were all things made, and without him was nothing made that was made. God created all that was good, as a result, evil existed. Without evil there would be no good, good would actually be just the way things are, ie if you take out the valleys, then hills become prairies. God did not directly create evil, but evil is the absence of good, so by creating good, then he created evil by default. God is a perfect being, and would not create a world without balance. But this is just the ignorant ramblings of someone who has spent his entire life studying the holy scriptures of God. thank you, and God bless

Many years ago I taught myself Greek to read the NT and was surprised at how different some verses were from those I'd read in the KJVThe New JPS Translation according to the Traditional Hebrew Text translates the word "evil" as "woe". In context, the verse contrasts "woe" being the oposite of "peace" and earlier in the same verse "Darkness" as the being the opposite" of light. The website you directed me to translates "Rah" as some type of "calamity". Evil, woe & calamity all equate to something bad, oposite of "good". Hence, I still think he's on to something.

"Why are devils created? Almighty God created Satan and evils; what is the wisdom in it?"
To compare and contrast and, ultimately, to appreciate good. Ergo, there is no good w/o evil.
