In a game crucial to both teams, the Chiefs and Giants will rely on their star running backs (5 ET, CBS). Earlier, the Patriots routed the Bucs 28-0 to win the AFC East.

I was thinking the same thing! LOL!! Given that their first meeting this year was right down to the wire, a Chargers/Cowboys SB would be awfully exciting to watch!
We've got our own thread. :-D
Giants O-line's playing pretty good so far. And give the LB corps some time to adjust.
This game is boring. I'm playing Video Poker in another window.
I hope for a repeat of SuperBowl V. That was Dallas could get revenge for that 16-13 loss to the Baltimore Colts...
BTW before becoming the Colts, they were the Dallas Rangers.
2nd BTW I was a Colts fan and watched live (yes, on TV, but still live!) as they beat the Giants in the 1958 Championship game!
The Baltimore Colts will always be my first love... The Indy Ponies I could care less...
I think the Chargers organization made a mistake last year when they started Brees for the entire season. They should have put Rivers in there after he'd been with the team for a month. But there were rumors that A.J. Smith and Marty were worred about being fired for not winning. Rivers has big-time Super Bowl potential and he throws deep better than Brees. He should have started last year and this year.
Chargers also need to revamp their passing scheme to get Tomlinson involved more in deeper routes. LT could burn linebackers repeatedly with a simple down-out-and-go pattern down the sidelines about 20 yards. Run everybody else towards the other side of the field and LT would catch those passes in stride for touchdowns. IMO, Marty is a mediocre coach of the passing game; we need to bring in Coryell to revamp their passing scheme. But anyway, Go Chargers!
So far, NOT so good...
Get off the dime!
Screen to Tiki for the 1st, flag down.
This is cool, I still have all my credits from yesterday.
dude there was already an NFL thread for today....
Tiki's a 'Boom or bust' runner; 10 attempts for 10 yards. Next attempt, BOOM! 40-60 yards.
WHAT???
This is EX-CITE-ING! (how big is your stack o' chips?)
I know. I keep pinging everyone in there too.
why do we need to keep 2 threads going though?
I thought the idea of this thing was to combine and consolidate everything?
Yep, Tiki get ANY seam, he's liable to break one.
Giants have a tough time winning on the road. They're having a time time today.
I didn't start this thread. scott says freepmailed me to tell me to try and help maintain this thread too.
3-0, Chiefs.
Well, guess the whole website will fall because there is a Chiefs-Giants thread, eh dude?"
Gadzooks, get a grip!
