That would be my dream Super Bowl, but it's not happening this year... altho, at this juncture, it still "could."

I was thinking the same thing! LOL!! Given that their first meeting this year was right down to the wire, a Chargers/Cowboys SB would be awfully exciting to watch!

We've got our own thread. :-D

Giants O-line's playing pretty good so far. And give the LB corps some time to adjust.

I hope for a repeat of SuperBowl V. That was Dallas could get revenge for that 16-13 loss to the Baltimore Colts...

BTW before becoming the Colts, they were the Dallas Rangers.

2nd BTW I was a Colts fan and watched live (yes, on TV, but still live!) as they beat the Giants in the 1958 Championship game!

The Baltimore Colts will always be my first love... The Indy Ponies I could care less...

I just checked the San Diego Tribune website and there's no mention that Brees has been resigned. I don't think Brees has been given a long-term contract yet. That won't happen until after this season if at all.

I think the Chargers organization made a mistake last year when they started Brees for the entire season. They should have put Rivers in there after he'd been with the team for a month. But there were rumors that A.J. Smith and Marty were worred about being fired for not winning. Rivers has big-time Super Bowl potential and he throws deep better than Brees. He should have started last year and this year.

Chargers also need to revamp their passing scheme to get Tomlinson involved more in deeper routes. LT could burn linebackers repeatedly with a simple down-out-and-go pattern down the sidelines about 20 yards. Run everybody else towards the other side of the field and LT would catch those passes in stride for touchdowns. IMO, Marty is a mediocre coach of the passing game; we need to bring in Coryell to revamp their passing scheme. But anyway, Go Chargers!

The Giants running game is non-existent and Eli is errant. The Chiefs have been able to run...

So far, NOT so good...

Tiki's a 'Boom or bust' runner; 10 attempts for 10 yards. Next attempt, BOOM! 40-60 yards.
