is Leftwich (sp?) going to be playing at that point?

According to my Magic 8 Ball, "ALL SIGNS POINT TO NO".

I'm fairly confident that soon-to-be MVP Tiki has knocked me out of the fantasy playoffs... like, poop.

Jax is a solid team, but will they freeze up if they have a playoff game in severe cold up North? I'll never forget my Chargers losing to the Bengals in 1981 in -8 degree weather and wind. Dan Fouts could barely throw the ball and all the players were moving in slow motion. Cinci looks like the dangerous sleeper team in the AFC that could upset Indy even in their dome. The Pats could upset Indy too, even on the road.

What's the score of the Buckeye game? I turned to Cavs/Miami as soon as football was over.

I'm watching the Cavs game on the Sunshine Network here in FL, and I see the OSU game is on ESPN2. I get 2 Ohio games on TV, must be my lucky day.

It looks likely. NE will host a game in the first round. I don't see any wild card team beating them, regardless of who it is. Even San Diego would find out it's a bit different there in December than in September. Then, NE would go to Indy, unless there's an upset in the other game, which as I said, is possible. It will probably be Cincinnati hosting the other first round game, which could be against SD or Pitt. Either team is capable of beating them, especially if Cinci is looking ahead, as they already seem to be. Then the upset winner would go Indy and NE would head to Denver, assuming Denver has the other bye.

Cincy does look good, the "healed up "Pats are coming along as well. I think that it would be awesome to see the Patriots play the Colts again, Indy is clearly the best team this season, but Belichick has a way in rematches. Colts fans would be thrilled to avenge the last couple of years...it would be great!

And that's the game.

The defense on both sides started out strong. No score in the 1st quarter.

Then the Chiefs drove down the field in the 2nd quarter, coming to the Giants' goal line.

3 plays, and the Giants' defense stuffed them. Field goal.

After that, the Giants scored 10 straight points. They never trailed again.

MVP of the game is, without a doubt, Tiki Barber. Best game by him this year; 2 TDs and 220 yards (most by a back in any game this year) on 29 rushes for an average of 7.6 yards per carry. His best run was his first TD run, where he broke six tackles to make it into the endzone. A thing of beauty.

Eli Manning's accuracy was around 50%, and he had one TD and one INT. He didn't break down in the end though, which is good. The recieving corps of Burress, Shockey, Toomer, and Carter came through when needed. The offensive line played excellently, considering the changes made for the unit.

Penalties were important. KC had too many (some were questionable though), while the Giants managed to downsize on their offensive penalties.

The Giants' defense played well throughout. The play of the backup players was good, considering the offense they faced. Although the Chiefs' Larry Johnson rushed for 167 yards and 2 TDs, the defense made up with 2 takeaways late in the game. Kendrick Allen was the only one who got a sack today (although against the Chiefs' tremendous O-line, it's understandable).

Jay Feely connected on both of his field goals. Although the Seattle debacle was big, he still deserves credit for having the most points among NFL kickers (only Shaun Alexander has more points than Feely overall with 138).

All in all, a satisfying game. Considering the banged-up nature of the defense and the offensive-line, the Giants played excellently.

Take note Giants fans; tomorrow the Cowboys play at the Redskins. Big game, as we face the Skins in their home stadium next Saturday. Also Chargers and Broncos fans...a thank you will suffice. :-P

Final result...

Giants - 27
Chiefs - 17

Have a good evening.

Looks like a TD...7-0 Bills. Yes, we need a Denver loss, that would help.
