It's pseudo-urban jive for "proper respect", mostly used by white kids from the suburbs these days.
Fred Smoot gives new meaning to the phrase "Double-Threat"
yeah, he had both ends covered well.
I wonder if eight crew members from Al & Alma's showed up at Winter Park with a dozen "strippers", proceeded to get naked and have a sex party on their furniture and their carpet and leave used condoms all over their floor in front of their employees that weren't expecting that type of behavior... well I wonder if the prosecutor might have found something to charge those eight crew members with before 2 months plus had passed? Hmmmm???
I wonder if they'd have been so worried about their Constitutional Rights and being ever so careful not to step on any political toes while investigating?
This is a joke. The charges are a joke. The fact that only four players are charged at all is a joke. And the fact that they had no physical evidence is their own fault. They could have had it and didn't want it. They initially said, "We don't need that, we don't see any crime that's been committed here".
They know exactly who the women are. They know they were brought in from out of state. They stayed at a local hotel. There's a paper trail and everybody with half a brain knows it. You don't fly without ID. What a crock.
Fred Smut.
Let me guess...related to Jim Klobuchar?
Name recognition is everything in politics.
Full Disclosure: In exile from Minnesota, behind the times.
His daughter. She was a lawyer at Dorsey & Whitney before becoming Hennepin County Attorney. She is running for the DFL nomination for Senate, and will be a strong candidate against Mark Kennedy in the election. Kennedy can probably do it, but the DFL will do anything to win this race.
Again, you bring up political considerations in this case.
Do you believe that these charges should not have been brought?
Right, actually. Let me know if you want to bet on any matchups next week ;)
