I guess I should print out a new resume, though, with my latest experience added. Maybe when I go to the library to pick up that CD.

Are they likely to call you back today? You could do a quick swing by the library before dinner (I figure we'll have to drive seperately since you're going to the movie and I'm not).

Yep, it's expensive. Pecans are slightly less so but still.
Walnuts aren't as expensive as pecans...I may try that someday.
Well, I started getting ready for trip to NO. I found several pairs of "work jeans" at the thrift store. Bought one pair for $2...GAP classics. I swear, they are the best jeans I've ever owned. They fit me perfectly!
I also got a twin-size air mattress at Walmart.
Oh, and I got this MASSIVE nylon duffle bag, bright orange, so I should be able to keep an eye on it during the trip. I took a Sharpie and wrote my last name all over it. I also wrote my name inside my jeans and took the air bed out of the box to pack.
Steve's work is going to lend me a pair of steel-toe, steel shank boots, a pair of heavy duty rubber gloves and a pair of leather gloves too.
Good news on the job prospect! WOO HOO!
It's something, anyway! I'm just trying to remain neutral emotionally. After all, I did a lot of interviews before I got the last position. But that sure would be nice!

Which reminds me of some of the chat from the producers on the soundtracks.
When Gandalf first sits down at Bilbo's table, he bumps it, but Bilbo's "half" of the forced -perspective table doesn't move.
And yes, there was a car moving along the horizon as Sam and Frodo were walking across the field leaving the Shire. It was digitally removed for the EE version of FOTR. (Spoilsports).
They also mentioned the day of panic when they got an email from their dwarvish language expert. Balin's tomb is supposed to be decorated with dwarvish place names, but he said some joker wrote, "Bob was here" in dwarvish among the rest of the lettering. They were deathly afraid that the "single framers" would spot it, so more emails flew back and forth, asking exactly where it was.
Finally their "expert" admitted he had fourth-hand hearsay that one of the set painters put it in. They brought him out to the set, and he went over every inch of lettering, but all was as it should be.

You know... speaking of PJ... I heard an ad for King King today, and it said "From the Acadamy Award winning Director of Lord of the Rings" and I was just so happy for him to be able to say that, and have that bit of glory from his LoTR effort. Even if he did squander it on a monkey movie :~D
