Hello all. Wish I had better news to report on things this week-- but I DON'T!! I got stiffed out of $210 this week, at the least, as the boss did NOT come back into town, after Thursday, and he left NO money-- he is in Dayton, doing a job, and probably shacking up with someone, for the weekend or going to strip joints.
But my script is now ready,(BOTH copies, each 214 pages) and I will send it in Monday-- it seems that since I decided to go through with this, things have been going VERY badly for me, in the financial dept. Perhaps it is all coincidental--but probably not. After I send it in, it will be in God's hands, as to whether it places well in the contest, and gets the attention it deserves.
BTW-- if any of you have seen or heard about the house with the Christmas lights that are timed to music, (all 25,000), or seen videos of it on the web(Carson Williams, Christmas display) , that is within about 20 or so minutes from me. I did NOT know that, till a week or less ago-I figured it was in L.A.or something like that, NOT here around the corner, almost.
Well, this is not looking like it is going to be a good Christmas, BUT all in my family are still healthy, and that counts for a LOT!! Maybe broke and alone, but healthy, nonetheless!!

When was the last time you had a good week?
I sympathize with the boss thing. When the pizza place I worked at went belly-up, my boss told me two things: 1. They would mail me the rest of the money they owed me, and 2. He was going into upper management at a high profile company and would get me a desk job there. He told me to keep in touch.
Well, I never received my last check. And I have called him about 10 or 11 times in the past few weeks. No answer. I've tried all times of the day. I've left message. No return calls. Nothing. No one ever picks up.

I am sorry to hear that :( Same on your boss for doing that to you.
Congrats on finishing your script. My writing is slow going here. I hope yours wins.
I never even heard of this house you are talking about.
