Remember Ross Perot talking about every family having a crazy Aunt?

I think Lazamataz is FR's crazy Uncle.

When I find money on the ground, I leave a note on the ground that says "I have your money, call me" and I initial it. Likewise, when I dent a car, I leave a note that says "I dented your car, call me." I initial that, too.

Hopefully you won't get crank calls late at night or the same rolled over on your voice mail.

On a side note, there is a building craze in Texas for new High Tech Police Stations. High Tech means that you cannot step foot inside a station unless you are under arrest and in custody.

Wow, I can't believe the amount of people on here suggesting you keep it. Don't. Take it to the nearest police station to where you found it and give it to them. If no one comes in looking for it it will end up with you

No it will not! The police will have forgotten about it or claim never to have known about it. Best thing to do was have the loser contact the local police and file a lost cash claim and they in turn could contact you with the info on the loser. That way your privacy is protected and you walk away with cash and a clear conscience........

Okay, well, I don't freak about cops like you do but regardless, we have the same basic tenent. It's not yours, wait and see if someone else claims it before you take it as your own.

Remember Henny Youngman:

"A woman walks into your store and buys a suit.

She gives you cash, you give her change, and as she is leaving, you notice that she gave you $100 too much!

Now, here's where the ethics come in:

Do you tell your partner???"

I'll have some of what you're eating.

Her name is Susan, but I think she'll want to get to know you first.

Send it to me, Reverend Bob, Pastor, St. Mattress of the Springs. I'll make sure it gets to the right people.

Aunt Bea had some nice knockers, didn't she?

Yes, and they fired tungstun flechette rounds at the rate of 600 shots per minute.

Wow...what's up with your mind? I think that crease on top of your brain might be crooked.

I have no crease in my mind.

My skull, yes, but not my mind.

In what may be the biggest surprise thus far no one has called at all.

In my experience, posting 'found' notices does sometimes get you some odd contacts with interesting people!

When we took a lost dog home last Christmas Eve, we posted an ad in the paper describing the dog... large black lab mix with a white chest, white feet and white on his face. We only got one call, from a woman who sounded increasingly kooky the longer the call went on... She said... "Well, our dog is all black and doesn't have that much white on him, but my daughter likes to dye him different colors, so it might be our dog..."

HUH? Lets just set aside the fact that the daughter dyes the dog in the first place.... How do you dye a black dog different colors, and how do you dye white onto a dog?

Between that, and the odd obscene name she said they had for the dog, and we knew one thing... this dog was not going to go to her...

He's the one sitting upright below :~D
