Tuffy, if you really wanted to steam her, follow her until she got to her destination and then say "I'm glad you &%$'d him - I left him when I found out he had herpes....oh dear...what's that on your lip?"
"My argument would have been that if your children were of small age, they should be restrained in a back seat where they wouldn't be able to see the bumper stickers to begin with."
Oh, I drive an Excursion. Had my kids been with me, (they are all properly restrained when in the car) they wouldn't have been able to miss it. They are so high up in that truck, they don't miss much.
No, pretending to be a she when he was a he.I forget what poster outed him and all the particulars. Not just on this forum either. If you google you will still find "Megan" as CGEB but not the pic, it is gone from the net.
Good one!
I know what 911 was started for. What it WAS is not to the point. I also know what it is now, and now it's a place for a call about a possible violation of local ordinances relating to decency.
911 here and in many other places is NOT an emergency channel, consequently your second paragraph is not to the point.
I'd just like to say, that if people start getting shot over what their bumper stickers say, well, anyone with a DMB round sticker needs to get some kevlar. In fact, they're all stupid, especially the OBX ones. Like I care you spent too much money last year on a beach house rental.
It's not our ADULT skin than we are worried about. We are trying to protect our children from public obscene material
"EXACTLY!!! Hello???? Has anyone noticed how our world has become? It's because the children of yesterday are now out there doing the things THEIR parents should have taught them NOT to do.
I hate to quote Whitney Houston here, but she said it right....Our children are OUR future, all of us. And if WE don't take responsibility and stand up to teach them what's right and wrong and take away the filth and obsene material that SHOULD NOT be out in public, and create standards for which to live by, our world is going to hell in a hand basket faster than we'll realize.
Don't blame the kids, blame the parents. It's OUR responsibility as parents to do our jobs. Ignoring it and "growing a thicker skin" is NOT an answer. Period!!! Have a look around you and see exactly why..."
I loved this post, by the way. Says it all.
My guess is she had the bumper sticker precisely because many would find it offensive.

Yoo hoo, moderator? My confuser stuttered. Kindly repair?
DMB? OBX? Beach house rental?? I'm racking my brain and not coming up with anything.
DMB - Dave Matthews Band
OBX - Outer Banks
That's great!
I don't know if I would have said anything or not, but I'm sure glad you did. That woman was disgusting.
Reminds me of a trip to Acadia a few years back.
Hubby and I spotted a car COVERED with offensive stickers in favor of abortion, Peta, lesbianism, etc. using foul language to get their message out. As we were pulling through the parking lot on the way out, we saw three FURRY, unshaven, butch, women with attitudes locked arm in arm, walking across the parking lot. He said, "those must be the car's owners!" We sat and watched them walk straight to the car and get inside.
She is a classless pig. You're right. I wonder what her mother says about it, or her father's opinion on it... or her boyfriend for that matter. Who'd want to be seen with that?
When I see some offensive stickers or t shirts, I wonder if they ever go to visit their grandparents. I haven't seen many stickers that vulgar.
Free speech sucks sometime, i know.
Thanks ya'll.
Hair, I don't remember EVER seeing a bumper sticker that vulgar. I thought I was seeing things.
So private property rights mean nothing to you I take it? How 'conservative' of you. You know I don't like what someone has on their car! I have the right to deface their property without their permission because I don't like it!! I never knew that right existed....
I don't mean political campaign stickers... but the really toilet humor ones that are vulgar.
