He is living in his past make-believe world again.
Yes-it used to be a routine practice here in the Arkansas prison system. Well, not killing, but severely shocking them. BUT, I assume it could kill a human...
Kerry is as a big a moron as he is a liar.
I'm sure that some one can be electrocuted if the heart can be crossed.
Well, my ex-landlord complained about getting a big shock from the phone wires while remodeling. I guess people don't realize how much juice is in those wires. But I'm pretty sure if it was enough to electorcute you there'd be more awareness of it. I guess there is also no way to shut that power off, so it can't be a lethal dose. (Notice how I skillfully avoided using specific electrical terms such as current, voltage, etc. I know the limits of my knowledge eh? That's why I won't touch any of this stuff!)
Only if you accidently drop it in the bathtub with him........Or is that a blowdryer?? I can't stay "current."
One can use an AN/PVS-12 (Field Phone) to do this - usually painful, not fatal. It can be made fatal, but why bother - easier to bash the other guy's head in with a rock.
How badly do you want to know?
Odds are against killing anyone, but you can piss them off bad enough to hurt you, if they get loose!
Kerry is never speaking to anyone who knows much about anything, his audience is a blank slate. They will believe anything, if it is shouted loud enough.
DID YOU KNOW THAT HOOP SNAKES HOLD THEIR TAIL IN THEIR MOUTH, AND ROLL DOWN HILLS TO CATCH YOU?
This must be true, or else, they wouldn't call them "Hoop Snakes", would they?
Truth does not mean diddly squat, perception is everything, P.T. Barnum lives!
The old style hand crank domestic phone generators could put out quite a wallop -- 75-80 volts at a couple of amps. That would light your lamp. So it depends on exactly what equipment was being used. But the shock could kill at those levels, it would surely hurt like hell.
As others have said, a field phone can definitely deliver a shock. It is a classic method of torture. I believe this has been dipicted in films although I can not name one with certainty.
I work with electricity all the time. The most I got shocked with was 80,000 volts with almost no current. Threw me but I lived. The one that hurt the most was 90 volts D.C. with all the current you wanted. D.C. is worse cause it makes your muscle lock up hard, real hard. Hard enough to pop ligaments and tear tendons and stuff like that. Hurts alot and you can't let go. P.S. the stuff right out of the wall has a good bite to it too.
