Place 16-20 quartered squirrel parts in pressure cooker and add enough water to cover. Set heat to medium-high, and cook for 40-45 minutes. After cooker cools, remove squirrel parts and place in pre-heated crock pot with approx. 1-1/2 cups KC Masterpiece Sesame-Teriyaki barbeque sauce. Gently stir to coat meat. Simmer on high for 2 to 2-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serves four.
Think I'm yanking you? You should've been at the last Super Bowl party when we had it along with venison chili. Whomever thinks squirrel is tough has rocks in their head. The meat fell off the bone.
Sure in a pressure cooker, cook one on a string in front
of a fire place and you can wear them as shoes.
Hehee, we always had them in stews.
Some how I'm reminded of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
I'm rustic, not savage, TYVM. LOL
Um.. I used it.
There is something primitive about the Search function here, I think.
Does it work for you? Any suggestions on getting matches?
When squirrels attack...
I just typed the word "squirrel" into the search fuction (ordered by post time) and the previously posted articles were the 4th and 5th entries down.
I wasn't patient enough to scroll down when I saw the dates on the first articles.
My boo-boo.
They have "big nuts'
I don't think in my neck of the woods that it is a shortage of nuts, but an overabundance of squirrels. They are everywhere. They got my entire walnut crop but not before me and the dogs got seven of the little critters.
Nice Brunswick stew in a crock pot too. Yum, Yummy.
