It could be worse in that the Cowboys never made some sort of comeback, that would have been embarrassing.
At least we threatened in the 4th.

Its way too cold for Tx, then the blue norther is coming Wed and its going to struggle to get out of the 30s.
Meanwhile it hasnt rained in 6-8 months and we have an arsonist setting fires everywhere.

The Giants are a good team, and I would rather lose a big game to them than the Egos or Foreskins.
Mainly because the NY Giants fans are cooler.

They really may be the worst NFL team ever. I still wish the Browns had beaten them. A perfect season could have been ours.

I must agree with the networks...the key story for us is the emerging dominance of Osi (and he gave a rare interview after the game). Michael and Osi will continue to give opposing OLs fits. And Fred Robbins (Wake Forest) and Kenderick Allen (LSU) have been huge in the middle. And, that's what you need in December--a front four that can play.

How sweet to see--Tuna Melt!

They made a game out of it....the parts that I saw they looked horrible, NFC should be wild come the end of the year...I think any one of the playoff teams will have a shot. Carolina, Seattle and Chicago all look good, the other teams are right there and I wouldn't rule anything out.....

I'm spoiled now with the weather...it might rain or dip into the 50's ( the horror!) but I did my time and dealt with the terrible New England weather for over 20 years...hot, humid summers, nasty, never ending winters....blaahhh!!! I served my sentence and now can enjoy a moderate climate, just have to deal with the friggin goofball liberal clowns that I am surrounded by...another story.

The Steelers have had a bad couple of weeks...but the Bengals are a very good team. That was one of the best games of the year , a lot of fun to watch as a football fan, maybe not for a Steelers fan. They should be able to get a wild card spot...unless the losing streak continues.

They'll probably get a wildcard spot. But they are not fit to compete for a championship, and any championship they win at this level of performance is unworthy of the term.

Next year.

Two bad game plans. No that's not quite right, apparently they had pretty much the exact same bad game plan this week as last week, so I guess it's two poorly planned games. It's always the same rule in any sport, if you don't play your game you shouldn't expect to win, and coming out pass whacky is not the Steelers' game.

They probably won't get a wild card spot, there were already teams looking in at 7-4, there just aren't enough wild card spots anymore for an 8-5 team to make it in the AFC. Too many QB injuries and too many bad game plans.

Same with my Pats...boy, what a rough year with all the injuries. They lost the OC, DC, had a very hard schedule, all things that they could handle, but not the injuries.
The entire DB has been wiped out..the RB's, OL, ect...
They will make the playoffs and loose in the first round....

At their current level of performance, I hope the Steelers DON'T get a wildcard.

They are not worthy.

I feel for you. I saw the Steelers for real these past three weeks, but until this morning, it was an anomaly.

Now it is a certainty. They ain't got it.

Go Irish! Go Penn State!

The defense needs to stiffen badly, of course two weeks in a row the game plan basically said "the defense isn't good enough" so I can't really blame them for loosing their oomph, notice when Cowher finally showed a little confidence in the D the Bengals offense netted -1 yard in 3 plays. It's amazing what a little confidence does for a team.

I intend to root for Tony Dungy's Colts.

I've loved Dungy's work since the way way back machine was invented.

Go Colts!

Not me, I never root for dome teams I consider them evil. The only way I'm rooting for the Colts is if they wind up facing the Cowboys in the SB (my second favorite team in the league is whoever is playing the Cowboys), if the Colts go the distance it'll be the first time I've ever rooted against an AFC team in the SB but I just can't root for a dome team. Assuming the Steelers don't make it I'll be rooting for the Bengals in the playoffs with my second choice being the Broncs.
