A video clip shows home Christmas lights synchronized to flash in time to a musical score, in this case Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Wizard in Winter" (from The Lost Christmas Eve album).
I'm lousy at pasting web links, but it's worth your time to see what this guy has done to his house for the holidays. Essentially, some guy named Carson Williams, of Mason, Ohio, put together a little 'festival of lights', and using a combination of light controllers and a low-power radio station, choreographed the whole shebang to the score of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 'Wizard In Winter'. The video is available for viewing/downloading at http://members.cox.net/transam57/lights.wmv. Snopes has the entire story (with interesting links) at http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp.
Pardon my occasionally p!ss-poor HTML skills if the licks aren't clickable - just copy and paste, TY.

I kind of like "TURE"
And the video clip is great---amazing, one of the best I've ever seen. Someone had a link to it here a few days ago.

I stumbled on this last night - fantastic! I wish the homeowner would post a webpage regarding its construction.

Thanks....That was the most unbelievable Christmas display I've ever seen....It blows away the $25/per car park ones I've seen and this guy has it in his front yard.....
I'd hate to be his neighbor......

If you hit the Snopes links, there's an in-depth article on how the guy did it. AND links to the company that makes the controller.

The post I mentioned was not a thread about this guy's light show.
Someone was just making a comment on another thread (can't even remember which thread)...and he/she posted a web link to it.
I think it deserves its own thread, so glad you started one.

The part I don't understand is the giant "Mr. Yuk" at the top of your thread. Did you get caught hotlinking?

Cool, but I don't care much for the Peace Symbol. Yeah, I noticed that too. Yuck.
I love the song. Even though I do Hanukkah (used to, though), I'm asking for the Christmas CD it's on for Hanukkah.
