WHO SHALL WIN?
Huh? I think you may have a little "us against the world" syndrome with the Giants.
On ESPN they said that the Seahawks have benefited greatly from their weak division and that playing the Giants would be a barometer for how good they really are.
How is this in any way disrespectful of the Giants?
The fact that the 'Hawks are only 4.5 point favorites shows that the bookies have a bit more faith in the Jints than the pundits.
I'm probably just a bit bitter; in my experience (which, admittedly, is not that long compared to other Giants fans; I've only been around since the Fassel era), the media pundits don't really respect the Giants, even if they are a good team. Most of the time, if they have a winning record, they treat most of the other teams as more suitable victors.
But then again, I don't live in New York (where I'm sure the local papers are more lenient), and I've been a Giants fan for only 8 years, so I don't know. But I do know that Giants fans can be a strange lot. :P
For instance, take the Corner Forum at the Big Blue Interactive Giants website...after a victory...
"WOO! GIANTS ROCK!"
After even ONE loss...
"BOO! GIANTS SUCK! WORST TEAM EVAR!"
Case in point; after the Vikings game where Eli was picked four times, some people were callig for him to be benched. :-P
Well Sonic, The Giants have the chance to gain some big respect today. I know they are a good team, today we will see how good. I wish they were showing it in the DFW area.
No doubt us Cowboy fans are interested in the outcome.
This "test" is a lot like our last game.
We didnt pass imo, but only barely failed.
I wonder had the OT coin toss went our way if we would have pulled it off. We have had 4 losses by a total of 13 points!
UNNGHH!
Oh well. Speking of which, Redskins are beating the Chargers 10-7. o.o
In their 1986 Super Bowl year, their O-line was called "The Suburbanites." Exciting, eh?
I see the Colts are beating up on another team, the Ravens are their sacrificial lamb this week.
The 1-9 Texans are beating the 4-6 Rams too. 17-zip.
Who would have thought that?
Or it might be the lack of cheerleaders. :-P
Driving me nuts. Defense is playing well, Edwards needs to stop talking and start catching the dang ball.
Dilfer limping now. Maybe we see Frye?
Nope, Colts are playing Steelers on Monday. The next three weeks (at Colts, Bengals, at Chicago) will make or break our season.
Thanks for the correction. Unngh!
wow, yall have a hard 3 weeks coming.
All 3 have winning records and you have to face the undefeated Colts.
Redskins are now 17-7 over the Chargers. o.o
( :-D
Especially in the AFC. I figure the Colts, NE and Denver have their divisions won. That leaves Jacksonville (easy schedule), Kansas City, San Diego (which I think is a really solid team), Cincinnati and the Steelers fighting for 3 spots. Some good teams are going to be left out.
Please let that score hold up.
The deadskins could get back in this NFC East race with a win.
:(
1 quarter left.
17-10, Redskins.
If the Skins win, they'll only be one game behind Dallas, and two games behind New York (provided we beat Seattle).
Thirty minutes until gametime.
