Elton John's partner and party boy, David Furnish

Definitely a Gold Digger...

That's too bad. For years, he personally struggled with that emotional disorder and tried to hide it. Too bad he didn't have the support he needed to over come it. In liberal land ... he was encouraged to continue on the road to hell.

If I am not mistaken, this is Elton's second "marriage."
His first marriage was a brief but straight one.

I wish a joyous day for Elton, his partner and their families. I respect Elton for his choice of a dignified ceremony and family celebration as opposed to a gaudy gay gollywood gala.

Nothing wrong about an official GAY rite establishing committed relationship - it's just NOT MARRIAGE.

Yeah. I didn't know till a few years ago. He tried his best to hide it. It tormented him and he was ashamed of it. He knew it was wrong. It's too bad no one cared enough about him to put him in touch with Exodus International. They give these folks the love and support they crave and get to the root of their emotional problems which allows them to lead normal heterosexual lives and have normal families.

This "union" won't last. He'll get drained of his wealth and be abandoned. The gay lifestyle is one of loneliness and sadistic love. It's no wonder they are so angry.

I don't know where you were, dear, but he's been public about being 'non-standard' since the 70s.

This "union" won't last. He'll get drained of his wealth and be abandoned.

He's been with David since the 80s. This is no flash in the pan fling. It's already outlasted most marriages, both inside and outside the entertainment business.

Hey- don't make fun of Princess Diana! She was a great woman. Some people are famous for singing, or dancing, or other trivial things like that. Diana was famous for wearing pretty dresses and she once touched an AIDS patient! Of course, they called a press conference 30 minutes before she did, and her last words as she was speeding in her car were- "Step on it- lose those (*^*&^&!"
Shame on you.

John's publicist said earlier this year that one of the main reasons John and Furnish wanted to formalise their relationship was financial, with civil partnerships giving partners tax breaks available to married couples.

As it is posted above, one of Elton John's motivating reasons for this marriage, is as a TAX BREAK. Not solely for love.

He's been with David since the 80s. This is no flash in the pan fling. It's already outlasted most marriages, both inside and outside the entertainment business.

I hope he has his beau sign a pre-nup agreement. I wonder, if these new changes in the British tax law opens some doors that weren't available in the past for homosexuals who split from one another. Remember how Marvin Mitchelson, open the doors, for non married couples with the palimony laws, that he influenced to create during the 1980's with Lee Marvin.
