This month, SAP's Shai Agassi referred to open-source software as "intellectual property socialism." In January, Bill Gates suggested that free-software developers are communists. A few years earlier, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer called the open-source operating system Linux "a cancer."

Desperate? Ha that's you with nothing but insults left in your quiver. I'm doing a great job getting the keywords Stallman and Red Flag out there, despite your constant attempts to cover them up.
"I'm doing a great job getting the keywords Stallman and Red Flag out there"
Yes! Victory through repetition!
BTW, you ARE a keyword. And that's not a good thing...
No, I stated the fact that he supports socialist organizations. You give money to him, some goes to them.
while constantly defending obvious socialists like Stallman
I've never defended Stallman, only pointed out to you that he's never stated opposition to all patents, only software patents, in line with the position of the USPTO before the courts forced it to start granting software patents.
Two lies in the same post. You're getting more efficient.
I just added OSS paranoia.
He can say what he wants about Linux, but the bottom line is they don't get a dime of my money. But, somehow, he is morally superior because his money supports revealing source code to the Chinese, or funding for Planned Parenthood, or censoring Chinese bloggers.
I nailed him on this one a few months back, and he never did give an answer. It takes the wind out of his whole argument, because, bottom line is, because I pay NOTHING for my software, my money doesn't go to fund this stuff and his does. That's why he keeps trying to turn the emphasis to Stallman, et. al.
He can't answer this one.
I've never defended Stallman
Another lie, since you attack me all day everyday for getting the word out about who he is and what his cult's motives are. You even said once he had no problem with patents at all, even though I showed you his own website where he said ALL software patents are quote "harmful". Yet you attack me instead of that nutball commie.

Hey, Gates is the one censoring the Chinese and giving them source code and funding Planned Parenthood with YOUR money. Maybe you don't attack him because YOU'RE a nutball commie.
BTW, Stallman's never seen a dime of my money, GE...
Oops, it's hard to do perfect html on this Palm treo while at work.. I'm sure the commies will accuse me of working for MS again though LOL
Exactly.
Stallman doesn't want or need your money. He wants your soul, which he appears to have locked up long ago.
"Stallman doesn't want or need your money. He wants your soul, which he appears to have locked up long ago."
Well, now...that's about the stupidest thing I've heard you say in a while, but it's an excellent insight into how your thought processes work.
And, Bill G. does want your money, so he can use it to prop up the Chinese software industry, give it to Planned Parenthood, and help the Communists censor the internet. You should be very proud of how your money is being used.
Misrepresentation of another's post #1: I've never attacked you for attacking Stallman himself. Hell, I've attacked Stallman, and Halfmanhalfamazing has attacked him far more viciously than even you have. What you get attacked for is painting all of open source with Stallman's politics.
You even said once he had no problem with patents at all, even though I showed you his own website where he said ALL software patents are quote "harmful".
Misrepresentation of another's post #2: We've been over this, and you disappeared when you lost.
As a software developer, I do agree that software patents are harmful, since the most trivial solution I have to a coding problem before me may have been patented by someone else. Software patents make software development a minefield not only for the small-time developer, but even for large corporations (ask Microsoft about Eolas).
Please, this time, show comprehension beyond the level of my seven year-old. Or at least try to beat my three year-old.
Hey, he makes six figures, and his dad can beat up your dad!
Which is of course another lie since as you fully well know I have no problem with open source as used by Apple. Stallman and Gpl are who I'm clearly attacking, and who you are clearly defending. Constantly.
I'll give you that one, and retract that part of my Misrepresentation #1. The the rest of it, and #2, remains valid. That is what honesty in debate looks like. Learn from it.
The main difference between other open source licenses and the GPL are the give-back, patent and linking conditions. So aside from Stallman having written it, what is it you don't like about the GPL? What is the practical thing about it that sets you off?
More ridiculous BS from you, accusing the world's richest man who routinely donates to Republican party offices nationwide as being a bigger socialist than your Green party slimeball Stallman is. Obviously you'll try anything to provide cover for your copyleftist buddies.
But obviously he is against software patents, and you tried to run cover for him on the other thread by saying he had no problem with patents at all, when clearly he does. Why do you keep covering for him, or lying about his positions which are clearly on the record for all to see and judge? Because you believe he's right, which is why you constantly defend him on here.
"More ridiculous BS from you, accusing the world's richest man who routinely donates to Republican party offices nationwide as being a bigger socialist than your Green party slimeball Stallman is. Obviously you'll try anything to provide cover for your copyleftist buddies."
I didn't say anything about Socialism. I'm just stating facts. You're free to deny them, with proof of course, if you can:
Microsoft is pouring millions of dollars into China.
Microsoft donates to the Democratic party.
Microsoft donates to Planned Parenthood.
Microsoft actively supports Chinese censorship.
GE funds Microsoft when he buys their software, ergo, GE supports all of the above.
Then, GE criticizes me, through Linux, of supporting communism, Stallman, etc. even though I haven't given "Linux" any of my money.
And you still have the nerve to claim the moral high ground. Hilarious. You certainly are a piece of work.
BTW, find those posts that prove your accusations of me yet?
Did you buy that with your six figure salary? And can your dad beat up my dad?
