Ok so today I was at work and I picked up my copy of the local New Hampshire "Foster's Daily Democrat" and on the front page was this story:
Lee home ruined: Teen playing with matches, fireworks accidentally sets house on fire
Now, in the article were these two pictures, have a good look at each and then ask yourself "what's wrong with this"?

In the first photo, the roof is fully involved. The house is a total loss and only
minutes away from being engulfed. Roofing materials are highly flammable and resist extinguishment with water.
No amount of water these guys could have brought to bear would have made the slightest bit of difference towards saving that structure.
