This forum is to help us get through the offseason by posting news, silly season rumors and anything else devoted to Nascar.
LOL One preview too many or I would have beat you!!
What do you think about this buying into the top 35 deal?
Ahhh yes, the old sand or humidity in the shutter works. Cameras are more delicate than women, ya gotta take care of and protect them. LOL I've had my 35mm for probably 20 years, but I baby it.
This actually is a bit more complex than the usual "buy into the top 35" deal. Up until 2004, Jasper Racing was actually its own entity (while they had a partnership with Penske, they didn't follow Penske into the Dodge camp until near the end of the 2003 season - IIRC, the fall 'Dega race). Then, it was Bawel's partner, Roger Penske, that pulled the plug on the #77 team. Now, if it had been a Crash/Jim Smith deal (finalized before the guaranteed 35 starting spots was final and they knew it would be worthless), then you could complain a bit more.
In sum, just another thing to blame on Brainless France.
Thought we did. Think it didn't want to come home.
Somehow it just doesn't seem right to me.
I could have summarized, this came from Waltrips site.
What really took my time was watching Jerry Rice on Dancing With The Stars, yes THAT Jerry Rice! He's a good dancer. I guess all those fancy steps staying inbounds after a catch comes in handy.
Thanks so much for the link, that was great.
This kind of sums it up.
Is it true that rain has returned to South Cactus...
Well rain would be a stretch TB, but it is dripping. I don't know if you know anymore, considering how much it's rained out there, but it's amazing what drizzle will do to roads that haven't seen rain for months. As DW would say, "It's plumb slickery out there."
Think it used to, but since they've been pumping it out since the 40s, it won't come out on it's own anymore. Actually pumped out so much the ground has sunk 3-4 feet.
The City of San Antonio wants to come here and do that too. They keep pumping things out from under us and we will soon resemble New Orleans.
I just needed a NASCAR hit.
Hey we have some drips this morning too. Yippee
Weather channel has a show on tonight re: when an F-5 tornado hits Dallas. That's a lovely story!! They say it hasn't happened yet, but when it does........???????
Like I said, that was Bawel's own team before it got folded into the Penske umbrella, and it was Penske that folded the team. Still, I'll put odds that, by the end of the year, the #55 won't be in the top 35 in owners' points.
Clock is ticking everyday! We are in the final countdown, 28 days to go!!!
Our dripping has slowed to almost zilch.
Almost there.....here is the Daytona website schedule.
