Well, I tried to see the Johnny Cash movie tonight, but the theater was sold out. So, now, I'm back home.
Looks like things are moving a LOT slower, than last night. I will be here awhile, checking in between writing.

Things are real slow tonight...I don't know, for some reason, Paul never pinged anyone, so I decided to do it but I guess it's too late.

I might be hear for a little while, right now, I'm working on a webiste and I'm battling a cold, I feel like I'm on fire and to sleep would be kind of tough. I feel like "The Human Torch" from the 1967 version of "The Fantastic Four." B-)
I might do a little research for my game. I got the 200+ years later post apocalyptic version of Western PA shaping up, I'm learning that we have three refineries in the general region, one in Bradford, PA, one in Warren, PA and one in Newell in West Virginia on thr Ohio River, they would be use for trade and such to keep the "Gypsy Truckers" and other traders moving. Basically, America in my game is very Balkanized 200 years from now (with many areas of "No Man's Land") and we have regressed to an 1800 to 1950 technology level (vehicles are not uncommon but nowhere like it is now, most places use horse drawn vehicles and there are steam trains in some areas but vacuum tube type and crystal radios are fairly common) with hints of high tech (1970 onward) in very small areas. The "Gypsy Truckers" is like a more modern version of "The Hansa" that were the main traders of Dark Age Europe. Other such guildlike groups are "The Gassers" that run the refineries and/or make alcohol into fuel. Europe is way off the list right now, but I'm thinking of making it an Islamic superstate with the Spanish trying to hold them back, I have to see how things gel out for my game.
You also have "high end" states like the Kentucky Free State where they maintain a 1940's tech level with their own versions of the M1 tank and M2 Bradley but they lack the high tech aiming equipment we have today and the M1 tank has a diesel engine like the M48/60 did. They also have an Air Force of P-47 fighters. Basically, the Kentucky Free State (KFS) is a country that was founded by rivals of the Project and they have reintroduced slavery although it isn't race based but most of the slaves became that way due to debt, being punished for crimes, captured in battles, questioning the leaders, etc. the KFS is one of the "stock" enemies in the literature of the Project. I'm settign my campaign in Western PA and Eastern Ohio for now, one of the most important advice of writing is "use the area you are familiar with the most" and I've been around the area plus I know people and seen/read about the others I'm using in the game.
BTW, this may sound weird but one night I had a dream where I was in "The Morrow Project," in the world of my game and I had a mission to run a preacher/doctor to a village that is stricken by sickness so I think I might use it as a plot device. B-)
