Yeah gas turines are used in both my vehicles and in the mechs. They are actually air-independant turbine system which are beginning to see use on newer non-nuclear subs. Although they do not require liquid oxygen. They use an alternate oxydant.

Of course I'm into football, watching the Chiefs-Texans right now, thought I won't get excited until tomorrow night when my Packers send the Vikequeens home in disgust (I hope).AWB

Brett always has a couple of INTs, no biggie. We need the defense to shut down Johnson and the queens offense to succeed. Who is you team?AWB

I like the really close flyby of the star destroyer in the first few seconds when Anikin and Obi-Wan use it as cover before entering the battle. I also like it when the Invisible Hand broadsides the Star Desrtoyer and then pluments toward the planet's surface. The captain has no clue to activate the thrust reversers and shouts "magnetize" until Grievous (one of the coolest charactes in the film) orders that for him.

I think the Swedes have subs that operate on a similar principle where they store compressed air to run their diesels underwater.

Yeah well... my fav QB Steve Young got his hall of fame ring today at half time and I believe beat Brett Favre the last time they played each other. I even own a Steve Young jersey.

Yeah K.C. has had it easy tonight. The Colts-Bengals game looked pretty good this afternoon though Cincy could never seem to get a leg up on Indy. I'm afraid Indy is going to beat the Dolphins unbeaten record this year the way they are going.AWB

I love the Colts... I hope they end up 16-0. You live in Gilbert? I live in Phx.

I watched the Steelers on my 1982 Zenith 25" console, Tommy Maddox stunk so bad. We lost against the "Ratbirds" (Ravens).
