But in that early age, a lot of the cartoons I watched I watched because there were bright colors on the screen.
"Ghostbusters," easily the king of my childhood cartoons, is a massive exception. I was a Ghostbusters FANATIC!!!

last I saw she stopped posting about 6 months ago... she was despondent over a couple of things... those of us on the Undead thread tried to get back in touch with her but have not heard anything since..

I haven't connected for over a year & was going thru some old things & was wondering. her hubby commited suicide over a year ago.. they were here in states & after his death she returned to her native Australia but continued to post.
I hate to loose contact with people I like. My fault but now just seeing if anyone had here email etc. I had it on my old computer which was eaten by virus!

Whatever happened to Jacko...abuse, etc...at a young age really messed him up. The difference between him and most child molesters is that he had the power and money to create anything. Regular molesters can't afford to build a Neverland Ranch that is a strange fantasy-version of their own childhood where they can play and sing and try to relive the past--or they would, too.
Unfortunately, trying to rebuild the childhood and relive it and desperately trying to remake it...it just doesn't feel that emptiness inside, no matter how much money you have.
she was prone to depression. That is how I first connected after the death of her hubby. Maybe she is lurking or reregistered under new name.. never know.
I have only a vague recollection of her (didn't know her since that was in my lurking days, but I do remember her name).

Michael was robbed of his own childhood by parents/family fame. unfortunate. I think he is a very talented performer.
I am a member of rock/roll hall of fame & get there a few times a month. I love his display /work.
It is so sad to see this happen. He could have been such a great roll model. he seems so lonely & afraid despite the confident appearances at times.
