Look up Thomas Dolby. He had a song in the 80's "Blinded me with science. I played it so much I can't stand it (not that it was a very good song to start with).AWB

Yes, she IS actually hard to handle, no claws or not. She snaps, screams terribly, and hisses, if I get NEAR her. If you try to pick her up, you would think you had a wild animal in your hands. Also, Tiki and her do NOT get along. She snapped at Tiki, one too many times, and he decided to snap back, terrifying Brenda. (I guess my cat does NOT know the "rules": (women can hit men as many times as they like, and we are supposed to just "stand there and take it", like a punching bag, with no response) But Tiki does not know about being P.C. (LOL!!)

You beat me by one minute! :) I may be getting old but I still have a pretty good memory:)AWB

Well I do not mean to sound pitiful but it sure does feel hopeless.
I try not to think that way and just leave it up to God to guide me. So far jobwise, I aked for His help and He delivered so I'm confident that He will eventually deliver "the right one" for me when I'm ready. Worse comes to worst, there is my cats, ham radio and Playstation. B-D Seriously, don't give up hope.
Well, I think I'm off for a little Playstation to wind down and to bed. B-)

Oh, right!! I've heard that song before. I didn't know who sang it, though.
Classic '80s geek song.

Hey now... I happen to think that song is poetry in motion.

Well, to be honest you may also owe me for a new keyboard, since I had just taken a drink of soda at that very moment ;-)

When your a DJ and have to play that song like 10 times a day it is anything but poetry in motion. More like torture with a string instrument.AWB

Let's see....
That one was popular in the Summer of '83, IIRC.(I remember a guy at Church camp had a tape with it on it.) About the same time these were also popular::
Come on Eileen-- Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Little Red Corvette-- Prince.
Our House-- Madness.
Rio- Duran Duran
Overkill- Men at Work,
Der Kommisar-- After the Fire.

Oh man... you live in a special kind of Hell then. How many times did you have to follow it with "Addicted to Love"?

You were telling me earlier (or was that day10?) to be weary of predatory women. What are the signs of that so I can avoid it before it happens?

You know I still like Come on Eileen and Our House. Don't know why but I do. Never could stand Duran Duran and Prince just got so old (like Thomas Dolby).AWB

To: Rca2000
Well crap... It's hard to tell when the local 80s station just plays the stuff all mixed together.
