Let's see....

That one was popular in the Summer of '83, IIRC.(I remember a guy at Church camp had a tape with it on it.) About the same time these were also popular::

Come on Eileen-- Dexy's Midnight Runners.

Little Red Corvette-- Prince.

Our House-- Madness.

Rio- Duran Duran

Overkill- Men at Work,

Der Kommisar-- After the Fire.

You were telling me earlier (or was that day10?) to be weary of predatory women. What are the signs of that so I can avoid it before it happens?

You know I still like Come on Eileen and Our House. Don't know why but I do. Never could stand Duran Duran and Prince just got so old (like Thomas Dolby).AWB

Those were the days, wern't they? B-) I remember in the Fall of 1983, I got my license and I remember the first song on the radio when I soloed in my car forthe first time was "Say, Say Say" by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson. BTw, I believe Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was still #1 at the time. Ironically, I got my first car before my driver's license so once I passed the test, I was ready to roll. It was a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix my father gave me because "he had an extra car laying around." At that time, he bought a Cadillac when he was drunk, he is alcoholic but he is OK now. Alcohol took a lot of my father away from me including the eventual divorce of my parents but I have to admit, that was the only time I was thankful he was drunk, I mean, what 16 year old kid would turn a car down? I kind of miss that car, it even had an 8-Track in it.

Man, I just wish I pursued Jane Simon with more zest. B-P B-(
