You should be on the list, definitely.
I could teach you so much about the Three Stooges. Believe me, I'm like a Stooge historian.
Unless, of course, that would bore you to death.

What could be more important and fascinating than the Three Stooges? Rainbow are you on the edge of your seat for the information?
To: Oregon Grassroots Conservative
I like to find intellect, art, brilliance, etc. in the most unusual places.
You wouldn't believe the analytical lecture I could give on a Bug Bunny cartoon.

And hello to Rainbow.
To: pcottraux
There I go again posting to myself.

Congrats.
Good night.

Hi there. Nice to meet you too.
I'm 37 years old, living in Brooklyn, NY. I enjoy reading most kinds of fiction, from the classics to contemporary horror and detective fiction. I also like to write fiction, although the writing has taken a back seat to other priorities lately. I'm a fan of hard rock and heavy metal (my screen name comes from the great Rainbow Rising album by the band Rainbow). I also like horse racing, South Park, baseball, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and movies.
Can't think of much else to add right now.

I love writing fiction. You probably now by now I am working on a novel. I mainly like sci-fi and military thrillers (especally when both are combined as in mine)

Good luck on the novel. Writing can be pretty hard work. I worked on a novel for years, but I eventually put it aside because I realized that I didn't have any idea how to finish it. Maybe I'll pick it up again now that I have more free time.

I am moving along kind of slow too. I am at 124 pages out of a planned 400. Writing can be very hard indeed, especially when it comes to characters and their personalities. I would love to help if it were possible.

Well, I see you're still going. I had to go out, to try and find some manuals, and parts, for a couple of TV's, I have to work on. No luck. And, when i was writing before, somehow,, a page or two, did not get saved, and somehow got erased, and I could not recover it. SO, I had to "take a break" so to speak.
Then, after the failure finding those parts, from my friend, I decided to "play around" a little. On AK, some of us have been discussing old LD players and discs. I have a couple of Laserdisc players, including one older than you, from 1981. I also have several discs I acquired at an auction, such as "Jaws", Twilight Zone, the movie', and "Friday the 13th". I decided to dig out that old Pioneer LD player, and "see what would happen, just for the "heck" of it(If I could get 'er goin', it makes me happy, to resurrect an old, forgotten electronic device. ) Well, the old 1981 player is playing Twilight Zone right now, with NO problems. SO, I had a little success on that front!! On a day of general letdown's (including our team, but that was expected, BUT they gave the Colts a GREAT run for their money,) that small success helped a bit.

That's not what happened at all. Britain could have wiped Gandhi and all his followers out without breaking a sweat. It was through their own kindness that they didn't.
I think the same way. The British, although they were no angels, did adhere to a basic code of morality. Although not perfect, it did provide Ghandi enough wiggle room to do what he did. If it was the Nazis or Japanese in India, Ghandi and his followers would have had the life expectancy of a pizza in a college dorm.
