Muslims are (probably) not to blame for bringing down the WTC buildings after all," Jones writes.
Well, this is coming from a physics professor of BYU. I never paid too much attention to the conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11, so I don't know if this is anything new or not. Needless to say, I was a little surprised to see this in Deseret News, coming from a BYU physics prof.

Again? Are you going to stay and discuss this? Why is this suddenly "news" today?

What would a nuclear physicist know more about how buildings fall when they blow up than, say, a structural engineer?

Again what? Stay and discuss? I'm not sure. I have some plans today. Why is it news? Because it was written two days ago? I didn't see it posted.

The construction of the WTC towers was different than most buildings. When one floor went, it was a given that others would follow, and a complete collapse would likely result.
I'm willing to listen to just about any theory, but in this instance I believe the postulator is not only wrong, but it tragicly feeds the mindset that Moslems didn't do this, we (or some unseen force) did.
Nonsense!

Thanks for the heads-up. I would have seen it had the troll used the article's title.

"Muslims are (probably) not to blame for bringing down the WTC buildings after all," Jones writes.
It just goes to show, you can find someone to believe in ANYTHING, no matter how preposterous. Amazing how the prepositioned explosives in the base of the buildings caused them to collapse from the top down. It also ignores the rather obvious explosions caused by aircraft ramming into the top floors, or was that staged, too?
Yet another good reason to eliminate tenure.
To: andyk
"It is quite plausible that explosives were pre-planted in all three (WTC) buildings," BYU physics professor Steven E. Jones says I sure hope they were PRE-planted because if they had been POST-planted there would have been no buildings to put them in. What a bufoon.

The guy is a nut. He needs to retire or have his tenure yanked.
That and a good slap upside the head.
