For immediate release.
ESPN is proud to announce the lanching of our newest network, ESPNTO. ESPNTO will focus solely on NFL player Terrell Owens.
"With 25% to 33% of exisiting programs such as 'SportsCenter' and 'PTI' being devoted to Terrell Owens, this is the next natural step", said ESPN President George Bodenheimer.
The new network will feature endless clips of "T.O." ranting at teamates, his exciting touchdown celebrations, and of course T.O. doing situps in the driveway of his home. The latter will be aired at least once an hour. Additionally, you can plan on ESPN reporters staking out his palatial estate in order to provide you with the latest on T.O. movements and happenings.
Please contact your local cable operator and ask that this service be added to your programming chioces.

They don't need a new network for TO -- ESPN News has been doing a GREAT job of turning their ESPN channel into the TO Network.
Talk overhyping something -- the TO deals fits that completely on ESPN.

Jerks like Owens and Moss and Williams get 90% of the publicity while many equally excellent and talented players WHO BEHAVE THEMSELVES AND MAKE GOOD ROLE MODELS get relatively little limelight. This is true in all sports these days.

You have that right -- ESPN is getting worse too! They need someone new to head ESPN and get it back on track instead of becoming the National Enquirer of Sports!

We need to take lessons from TO.
A programmer hired to write code should after writing 10 lines of code should jump around for some time patting themselves on the back.
A store clerk after ringing up some of a customers purchases should jump around patting themselves on the back and mooning the customer. ETC AD NASIUM

Owens has obviously got some mental problems....I see some team taking a chance on him next year, probably with the rationalization that he will be on his best behavior in order to salvage his image and career.
But, as he has demonstrated, there's something wrong with the guy. He needs some intense therapy.

He needs some intense therapy. That's what I see. If he can get this self attention thing worked out, he would be ok. And I've never liked him or his former teams. It may be much easier to say than do.

Employing cokehead Michael Irvin as a studio analyst seems misguided to me.

Why do people continually list Moss?
He hasn't done anything NEAR what T.O has pulled.

ESPN is proud to announce the lanching of our newest network, ESPNTO. ESPNTO will focus solely on NFL player Terrell Owens. How will we be able to tell the difference between ESPN and the new channel?

After all, he committed the most mortal sin an NFL player can ever commit - he criticized Donovan McNabb, the greatest player who has or ever will play the game!

errr ummm ok. This isn't Donovan's fault. It's on T.O. Donovan didn't start that fight with Hugh Douglas. Donovan didn't call out Donovan after the Super Bowl. Donovan didn't send TO home during training camp.
To: MikeinIraq
I'm not going after McNabb. I'm going after the PC mindset in the media and the NFL that pegs anyone who dares to criticize him for any reason whatsoever as a racist.
Don't get me wrong, Owens deserves everything he's getting and then some. But if he had called out anyone else but McNabb, he'd probably be on another team (and wrecking it) before the playoffs this year. As it is, he'll be lucky to play another down in the NFL.

Why do people continually list Moss? Oh, I don't know. Little things, I suppose. The unbridled egotism, the habitual drug use, beating a fellow high school student and sending him to the hospital, getting booted out of two colleges, being charged with battery against the mother of one of his illegitimate children, bumping a traffic officer with a car, shaking his ass at the fans. . . . I know, I know, I'm nit-picking. . . .

"...He needs some intense therapy..."
Had he played Monday night, Roy Williams and his band of merry men would have applied all the therapy To could have wanted.
