To: Oregon Grassroots Conservative

I read, I understood completely from the first post! I guess it helps that it was my friend who told me that. The whole thing is I would occasionally buy one lottery ticket, I said "if God wants me to win the lottery, I'll do it on one ticket". She said "If God wants me to win, I'll find a ticket laying on the sidewalk". I can certainly see the connection to "I wonder if God wants me to ever marry" and "I guess if he does, you'll find your future wife laying on the sidewalk".

I see it because I was "there". Paul probably was involved in a different conversation on the thread.

PS, I am not here having logged off an hour ago to go to bed. :) Just checking back.

To kind of go along with that theory and it may be a stretch,but have you ever noticed that many couples are brought together by others,not necessarily for that purpose but not a chance meeting.
Still somehow most of them will tell you that you have to get out on your own and try to find somebody,despite that wasn`t the way it happened to them.
I suppose it may be an ego thing or they don`t want to be part of something that does`nt work out.
