Aviation Nation is this weekend at Nellis. I work close to Nellis, so I've been watching them practice. I watched the Thunderbirds yesterday, they were roaring past our building, it was great!

Most of my time racing was on one of these, either with a KX125 engine, a sleeved down to 200 cc engine or a very heavily modified 250cc engine;

I also got to ride the first Kawasaki Ninja delivered to new England. That was a trip! I don't ride any more. :(

When I get done working here in Alaska I'm going to make it to Reno and Nellis every year.

I really want to see Aviation Nation. Unfortunately I use all my vacation time in September. I would have loved to have been there for the Air Force 50th anniversary open house in '97. I heard Nellis was crazy full of airplanes for that.
