WHO SHALL WIN?
Not that it really matters at this point in the season, but it would still be nice if we can win this one.
CBS is reporting this now, but the Eagles still officially have his status as suspended.
Owens was scheduled to file a grievance with the league tomorrow, so it's possible the Eagles may lift the suspension and simply deactivate Owens for the remaining games to keep it in-house.
Larry Johnson scores on the last play and the Chiefs beat Oakland at home. Browns also win, for once.
I heard the T.O. story the same time you fellas did. All I can think is that it might also have something to do with the fact that you can only suspend a player for 4 games? I dunno, but at this point I'd be kind of surprised to see T.O. in the midnight green again.

The Bucs stunk up the joint, yet again. It's time for them to pull the plug on the Chris Simms experience. He's clearly not ready for prime time. I imagine Tampa Bay-area sports talk radio will be full of people calling for Tim Rattay to start. I would agree with them - the Bucs have nothing to lose now.
I'd be shocked to see him in midnight green again. Floored, actually.
And seriously disappointed.
It makes sense now....take any chance of TO influencing the situation.
I was surprised he actually played for the Eagles THIS YEAR. When he started that contract garbage I thought that he would have been sent packing before the season even started.
What do you think the team does? Just let him sit and pay the money, trade, ....?
Well, I don't have the Giants-Niners game on my TV, but that's what NFL.com is for.
End of first half. 10-0, Giants.
Eli has a touchdown. Cody has been intercepted.
Giants have two sacks. Niners have none.
Go Jints.
I think they'll pay him, deactivate him for the rest of the season and opt out of the contract.
I hope that's what they do, anyway.
whats his contract- 8 million this year? I think thats the number I heard.....
Brandon Jacobs touchdown. 17-6, G-Men.
Steelers score go up 20- 10..
time to switch tv to Bears 17/ NO 17 or
Seattle 27, AZ 19
Giants score again, up 24-6
Seattle scores -up 33-19
Only good game on is Bears/Saints
2 minute warning, Bears with ball at NO 32....3rd down...
nice throw for first down...Bears should run the clock down and kick FG....
I loathe the steelers.
10 seconds to go...Bears attempt short FG...
and its...GOOD! 6 seconds left...
Owens is done for the rest of the year. Trying to punch out as many teammates as possible is not a good thing.......
I think Carolina has established themselves as the team to beat in the NFC.
