um. no - that was an SKS, a 7.62x39mm semi-auto "assault-weapon" battle rifle, which I was mulling bullpupping.
I had to give that rifle (now in a commercial-aftermarket "Dragunov" stock) to a family friend who had all his firearms stolen in a break-in.
Your bull was making noises of wanting to buy a 1022 .22cal. semiauto like unto the ones we have down here.
