Now, we know that the dictators have been pocketing the $$ and starving their own people. The Muslims are killing the Christians and the place is a mess.

Also - they can't possibly grow enough food to feed their people in the middle of the desert - especially while they are busy raping and pillaging instead.

It is a total shame. There are precious few countries in Africa that are stable and functional. If the UN was worth a crap, I'd say they should quit spending money on COMPLETELY worthless endeavors and help Africa build some stable, capitalist, and governmental institutions. Instead, they would only make matters worse.
