Lots of $$ and hangovers it took to get me to that ability you describe.

It is a good one, but there are some IPAs here that are even better. Ask your friend if he's tried LaConner, Snoqualmie, or Maritime Imperial IPA.
Damn, I'm gettin thirsty.

The "Bay Area institution" happens to be Nordstrom, where I am resting quite comfortably right now! Mobile Internet access is a wonderful thing.
And they even serve beer here...

Hey, I had an IPA from your neck of the woods last weekend. Bought a 4-pack. Good stuff, a little sweet and very high octane. But not quite the "best IPA in America" it claims to be. Have you tried it?

Yep, Elk Head is just on the west edge of town next door to the car wash. They're pretty generous with the samples and you can buy by the glass on site. I get the ol' 64 ouncer Amber to go for like $8.50. You should stop by...especially if you get up to Crystal Mt to ski, if you ski, since it's on the way

"And never, ever before 8:00 AM." Well, I must admit that I break that rule once or twice a year.
It's after 8AM SOMEWHERE!!!
