Tell him to point the Hubble telescope at the moon and show us the remains of those missions.

No one is going to waste valuable Hubble time (which many have waited years for) to take a picture just to satisfy a ridiculous conspiracy theory.

Tell you what, why don't you go ask Neil Armstrong whether or not he's lying about landing on the moon? Probably would give the old guy a coronary from laughing so hard.

Also, considering when the moon landings were, there were ANY number of countries that would have loved to have discredited us. Those people were watching the missions occur with large telescopes at the time. Guess what - they didn't yell "FAKE! FAKE!" at the time. Many people were watching the landings through powerful private telescopes while they were happening as well. Amateurs could even pick out the orbiter against the moon with even moderately powerful personal telescopes.

You *can* still pick out the remains of the missions on the surface with an observatory 'scope. Try your local university.

Why? Everything Hubble is looking for is what we don't know or understand.

Why would a quick, put all the talk to bed photo be such a problem?

Oh, COME ON! Everyone knows the Hubble is a fake...those images are just made up...what good would it do to have a fake verifying the veracity of a fake?

Hubble could not see that stuff anyway.

The Hubble is finally being aimed at the moon. They are looking for landing sites for Apollo Ver. 2.

I just have to tell my "I lectured Neil Armstrong" story here. In 1965 I was at a glider pilot gathering in Dallas, where three men from Houston had flown up in a light plane. The weather was very bad and one or two small aircraft had been lost during the day. I was chatting with some fellow who had been telling war stories about the Korean war. I said "I hope you guys aren't going to fly back to Houston tonight?" He said "No, that even scares me, and I'm supposed to be fearless!" I went home and found his picture in Life magazine. He would not identify himself as an astronaut, just "I work for NASA", as he had not actually flown in space then. But I never forgot "supposed to be fearless".
