I just have to tell my "I lectured Neil Armstrong" story here. In 1965 I was at a glider pilot gathering in Dallas, where three men from Houston had flown up in a light plane. The weather was very bad and one or two small aircraft had been lost during the day. I was chatting with some fellow who had been telling war stories about the Korean war. I said "I hope you guys aren't going to fly back to Houston tonight?" He said "No, that even scares me, and I'm supposed to be fearless!" I went home and found his picture in Life magazine. He would not identify himself as an astronaut, just "I work for NASA", as he had not actually flown in space then. But I never forgot "supposed to be fearless".
That is way cool! :-)
