It was an exciting game, even if it ended the wrong way.
Congrats to the Sox for going 2-0 at home.
Let's go Astros!!!

Advantage: Sox, even though they will be playing in Houston.
Sox play great when on the road also. The Astros are doomed. It's destiny this year. The Sox will go all the way and the Black Sox will disappear into history, washed away by this year's winning team. What a game! Although my fingernails are now chewed down to the nub. What a cliffhanger.

BTW, the Black Sox who hit the winning home run, Podsednik, is a Texan (Waco area.)

Several exciting plays tonight. Give the Astros credit, they battled back to tie it. Nice job of going the other way by Vizcaino, and then the good baserunning and great slide by Burke:

Lidge looks like somebody punched him in the gut.
IOW, he looks like he has an Astro-intestinal disorder.
(I've been waiting all night to use that, btw.)

You're absolutely right, and we are now going on the Astros' own turf, so it' a good thing we won both these home games, as the Astro's will undoubtedly win at least 1 game in their own stadium. However, the Sox are good on the road too. This is the year, yep, indeed it is, the Sox year.

You're right, this really is the picture of the game, isn't it?

Lidge looks just absolutely punched in the solar plexus.
Pujols Monday night, now this. This is the kind of double-whammy that can mess with a closer's head--sometimes wreck his career.

Just for you:
