NORTH BELLMORE, Long Island There was another home invasion on Long Island. This time a North Bellmore, Long Island man who was about to step into the shower heard his front door open downstairs. Bart Salamone says he opened the bathroom door a crack and saw a stranger walking around. Salamone says he called 9-1-1 from a cordless phone in the bathroom -- but the intruder apparently heard him and kicked in the bathroom door.
Salamone says he and the intruder struggled, and the thug was able to run out.
Salamone says about an hour later after as he was on his way to work, a car pulled alongside of him. The car had three men - one with a gun - and they warned him to not say a word about the break-in.
I think I will start sleeping naked. A very good defense mechanism against home invaders. I could scare 'em all of!

He was able to call 911, and get away from the crime scene and its attendant police activity in an hour's time?

This is in my town! God protect Mr. Salamone. My 7th grader goes to school with a kid with that last name. If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if MS13 is involved. As I saw a spider web tatoo on a man's arm riding down Rt 106 this summer. And remember, they are aligned with terrorists.
On WABC radio (Mark Simone & Commie Kubie) they were saying he sounded so calm . They further said a guy showed up at his house in a car & threatened the man with a gun telling him not to talk.
The problem here is that the police have been cut by attrition since the Dems took over the county. Now they are up for reelection. I think now is the time for the PBA to give ad endorsements to the Republicans.

For all those who think this guy is a liar, there have been at least 18 home invasions on Long Island done by what the police think are 3 groups. Some are carried out on the same night.
