AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1732) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | October 18, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 10/18/2005 4:41:35 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

TROPICAL STORM WILMA ADVISORY PACKAGE #11

Discussion:

WILMA is nearly stationary, but strengthening, in the Caribbean. It will likely be a hurricane by the next advisory.

The blocking HP center north of WILMA will likely weaken later today, allowing the system to begin moving NW.

Previous guidance had WILMA heading for the east central GOMEX coastline of the United States, now it is on a trajectory for the Florida coastline near Naples.

This is important because the northern Gulf is cold, relatively speaking, and would be hard pressed to sustain a category III hurricane at this point in the season. By making the recurve where it is forecast, WILMA will stay over warmer waters, meaning southern Florida is increasingly likely the target of a category III, or major, hurricane strike. Winds are forecast at time of landfall, VT+110 hours, approximately, to be 115 MPH.

Remember VT+110 hours is out on day 5, and errors are large. There is still the possibility the storm will err westward, so folks along the eastern half of the American Gulf litorral should begin preparations.

In the news...

There appear to be some irregularities in the balloting in Iraq, and authorities are looking into precincts that have unusually high levels of "yes" ballots for the proposed Constitution. There were scattered reports of police making off with "No" boxes.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

*sigh* is right! Morristown is about five miles from my front door! Some day, some day...

You'll be here in spirit week-end after next, as will IG because grampashy will be home and I am making your apple bread recipe as well as her pumpkin bars.

This is the last time I have to go to Syracuse to get him. From now on, he comes into Watertown.

Take care.

Well, what a wONDERFUL idea for a small wedding! (Maybe you could wangle invites for the parents and get yourself a nice trip!)

I have been busy all day with grandkids. Older two had a half-day, so we spent the afternoon making Halloween decorations. Conferences were today, and both of them got straight A's!! Both teachers very enthusiastic about them, with lots of nice comments to their mother. I am a proud grandmom.

I just logged on about 45 minutes ago and saw that Kristol is up to his old tricks. I just posted my extensive rant on a thread on which some people said Kristol was a "respected intellectual conservative" who would NEVER wish harm to the Bush administration.

Boy, did I let them know how wrong they were!!! LOL!!

I do not have the energy to fight, verbally or physically, with anything stronger than a limp noodle.

No, you didn't! I am back! I had to make my husband a late supper...he wa at a zoning meeting for his company.

Boy, I sure missed a lot of hysteria today. I didn't know that there were rumors about Cheney resigning!

I felt like I had fallen into an alternate universe.

We sure don't need to open a whole Utah wing of FReeper General Hospital for your family so I hope your knee is ok tomorrow. Glad that Jacob is holding his own! ***hugs***
