My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I moved here just south of Portland a little less than two years ago. It is beautiful country. Too bad the big cities are so liberal!

"Wonderful poem, Johnn!! Love it!!"
I can close my eyes and see an older Ireland, the hills I walked, the streams I sat beside and dreamed to their music, hear the wind dancing across the fens and over the standing stones, the silent ruins that have still have a hold on me, and the graves that mark where part of my heart lies, at last in peace. It is a part of my past that I can sometimes write of, but never it seems to speak of aloud.
To: WayzataJOHNN
I was thinking that was the inspiration to you. I know the story. It will always be in your heart.
We have you to write of it in such a beautiful and sad way.

They really are very liberal...but you live in a very pretty area! I loved it there. The weather got everyone down when it rained for months on end...but I love the weather!
I have taught my kids to say thank you to God for the rain...because HE is watering our grass for us! :)

A Moment of Hers
Soft, her skin, like dew upon a trembling leaf,
gleaming like alabaster in gentle moonlight,
as she moves in graceful curves to my touch.
Her breath is a caress, a gentle subtle thief,
as her eyes perceive only ecstasy in Lunas light,
and my gentle passions touch means so much.
Each sensuous curve, a treasure I warmly inspect,
lovingly tracing such soft trails across her skin,
my tongue a teasing loving lecherous explorer.
I love her responses, mine to create and affect,
holding her between love and lust, perfection and sin,
for she is the perfect instrument, loving desirer.
In salutation to approaching novas within,
she tenses for that leap beyond herself again,
as every nerve explodes like universes afire.
With sudden release she knows it at last begins,
greeting it in a cry, mixing wonder and almost pain,
and only later will she warmly remember that desire.
To: WayzataJOHNN
Morning Johnn.
Very strong in images and words, painting a rich and sensuous scene.
gleaming like alabaster in gentle moonlight, as she moves in graceful curves to my touch.
Nice.

Ireland is in my blood too, Johnn.
I spent the summer of '79 travelling Erin by train, car, bus, foot.
I longed to visit the west, and went all the way to Inis Mor... at the full moon.
I have traced some ancestors back to Anacarty, a village
in Tipperary, near the Rock of Cashel.

"Ireland is in my blood too, Johnn."
It is a place that has a power all its own to those who get away from the common, the tourist traps, and see the land beyond, and meet the people in their daily lives. I would love to walk those hills again, though not likely in today's world of depressed incomes.
To: WayzataJOHNN
Great place for walking ... for music and conversation.

Good morning, Miss Feather! A gray day here. Might reach 50 but probably not. Winter is in the air.
