Hey... I have that game, but never installed it.
You play on PC or game console?
Thats the purpose of this thread... to find other fellow gamers. Do you want to list here under that game?

COH = City Of Heroes?
I'm not in that list.
The table at the top of the thread has the ping list for all COH players.

No, please, thanks for offering.
I'm asking for investment purposes. I've read that membership in COH has declined and interest in COV is less than expected and I'm doing research on the Korean corp profits--which I can't find, BTW, except for the first quarter. There is a lot going on in Asia and its explosion of internet services. I think there is "google" style opportunity for the high-risk part of a portfolio.
I notice there're no Lineage players.

Add me! I play Everquest 2 on the Blackburrow Server. I am trying to get in to the beta test for Vanguard.

I have played most of those games on the list, currently playing World of Warcraft on the Mannoroth server/alliance. Currently Rank 8 and rising rapidly =)

There has been a lot of COH traffic on previous threads.
Links to all previous threads can be found in the links section. I would suspect that the gamers we have listed here are a VERY small sample of true freeping gamers, so I doubt you could call information you find here very scientific or reliable for investment purposes.

I understand--was really trying to get a feel if "Villains" is going to be a hit, and haven't been able to see any buzz about it. What has been curious is that I can't find any profit statements for 2005 beyond the first qtr.

If I had to place a bet, my money would be on it flopping. Too many other RPGs out there for it to compete with, including the original COH, and from what I remember seeing in previous threads, this game sounds pretty complicated. I can see where it's originality may wear off fairly quickly. I also think the medieval/D&D style RPG's have a much larger and far more loyal following.
I almost bought COH myself off the shelf, just because it looked so unique. I relented once I realized it was an RPG, and I'm a FPS-er.
However, my opinion should hold very little weight considering I've never played it... Maybe the COH gang here can provide some additional insight. I know of one already who quit playing it alltogether
