My grandson just got slimed in NYC today in the UNREAL tournament First round. Name is xm_Rhythem.

Re: my reply # 3. Did any of you follow the Unreal Tournament in NY today? And was wondering if you competed in the past with xm_Rhythem?

I didn't even know it was going on. I like UT but I am nowhere near good enough to compete in tourneys for it. I used to compete and rank well in ladders for Ghost Recon and America's Army but I have since stopped ladder/tournament play. It just takes up too much time to be able to play competitively.

I didn't know that my grandson was a world-class player until last week. Oughtta keep closer in touch with those young'uns. He's a Sr at NMU in Albuquerque and may major in gaming. Ain't that a kick?

It looks like you already pinged the UT gang already in post 4, and provided a good link above. I appreciate your contribution to the thread! If that link is a permanent site for tournament related events, I would be glad to add it to the links section. If its a limited time link, your post should suffice.

All, I'm always looking for ideas and preferences on how to make this thread more functional and attractive, so dont be shy... post it up!

I could still use some help with game title graphics for the table as seen with BF2. (box scans, site steals, etc)

Nope. I stopped gaming years ago when I got burned out on ping pong. I'm doing good to conquer Sokoban. I like Texas Hold-em. That's about my speed anymore. Thanks for asking.

Quake 4 also gets released today but the reviews of that have not been enough to inspire me to run out and purchase it. I always prefered UT's take on that style of combat anyway.
