Evenin'
I just made it in under a hunnert, but I bet all the good rooms are gone. And, is anybody in the shower? I've been doin' yardwork.
Nana spent about 2 hours dividing daylilies for me. Saved me lots of time and gave her a chance to play in the dirt.
Wife's on her way back from Roanoke. Jr's gettin 'ready for the dance. Bought him shoes and a haircut this mornin'. With payin' off his class ring this week, that boy's breakin' me up.
Gots chicken thawin' in the microwave.
Saturday afternoon already... and I want to clean more things but I need to do homework. Argh. Gradually working on both though.
Good afternoon, it's pourin' here and we're kinda cooped up and trying not to get cranky about it.
Evening Corin. shooooz. Dirt therapy is good for everyone. Class ring, what size? I got one (class of '66) that I don't wear anymore. :-)
I've learned to stick a few solid frozen chicken tenders in a microwaveable dish and cook 'em for about 5 minutes on high...when I take them out, they're done for all practical purposes. It just don't look too pretty.
Then I heat up a little olive oil or butter and brown them real quick. Within just a few minutes I can have hot chicken tenders for use in tacos or chopped and used in stir fry or on top of a salad.
I don't even bother browning it for chicken and rice soup...I just dice it up and stir it in to some chicken broth with some rice and heat it on the stove. ( I always keep cooked rice in the fridge...we eat a lot of rice.)
Joshua loves it.
I sure am enjoying this new microwave!
I can make a scrambled egg taco with cheese and picante sauce in about 3 minutes.
