Shudder... that's just evil.
ROTFL!! Yeah, MJ's a walking example of "too much of a good thing".
Either you are really fast with photoshop or someone out there is far more evil than I.
Alas, poor Boromir.
Dead.
Heh...mostly she's just spending intolerable amounts of time on the phone. < /tattletale>
The lady said they don't normally handle technical assigments, and this was kind of a fluke. I also asked about admin type jobs, but she said they're really not seeing much right now - folks want to wait for the start of the new year.
So...I dunno. She gave me a number for a sister agency that does some tech assignments, and I'll be calling them. But it'd be rather nice if I heard back on the publishing company one. I got a note today that they had my resume and would be looking it over to see if I fit the position, so we'll see.
We'll be thinking about ya as you start the search back up. Hang in there.

Intolerable? I don't think it's intolerable... hasn't been that many hours I've spent that way...
Thanks! I'm trying not get my hopes set on this one job I've applied for, but it would be nice, I think! It's in a really pretty part of Loveland, too, which is close by and a nice drive from here...only twenty minutes or so.
But we shall see what we shall see, I guess. There's even the possibility that the folks at the company I'm working for now (via the staffing agency) will be hiring a few months down the road. That leaves something of a gap, though. I'll be starting to apply for retail jobs again over the course of the next week or so.
You know I'm just teasin'. ;-)
And you put up with my weirdnesses, after all.
Like intolerable Siamese brats.
Prayers continue for you, Rosie.
I have complete faith that you will land something permanent very soon.
Just bought my mom an new door latch set for her old house.
On eBay...
The old-fashioned kind that screw onto the door on one side, rather than popping out from within the door...
Her (130-year-) old one broke.
The "new" one is probably nearly as old, comes from the liquidation of an old hardware store, and is in its original box.
This had better work.
Evenin' XGI.
Great find on eBay! Here's hoping it fits the bill. :-D
Heres to mom's who ebay :D
Mom has getten me some handy stuff off there.
It is not like we get all 'shmoopy' or anything.
That's not even a word.
