New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Heh...I did that, too...but still didn't get hobbit.
Life just isn't fair!
Good afternoon!
I'm just having trouble getting this thing really moving.
And now that Bob's met The Toaster...I dunno what I should do next. I guess I could have the family lawyer visit (he's the one that send the "scam" e-mail) and blather a bunch of stuff.
You can always introduce a new character who is seemingly unrelated to the main plot until the very end....
I think someone might start reciting Beowulf here in a moment.
I already have too many characters.
That does remind me, though...I need to introduce the princess soon. Also she needs a name. So does her Dad.
I think she's going to have a sort of silly flower name, like Marigold. I have no clue what to call the deposed king. Something slightly quirky and old fashioned, I think.
Petunia?
Perhaps if they recited it backwards in original Old English it would dispel the evil demon.
'Course with my luck, the evil demon doesn't understand Old English.
Well...then they could try other languages. It'd be good for wordcount...
Ugh, Robert Jordan is like a NaNo novel gone bad. Er, worse.
Got a mailer from the Science Fiction Book Club. His new book is out. Oh joy. Oh joy.
Yeah, B&N have literal piles of Jordan scattered around the store.
Hmmm. "Piles of Jordan" sounds like a euphimism...
I need to finish the J.D. Robb "In Death" series first.
Hmmm....I wonder if I can parlay braid jerking and skirt smoothing into a whole page.
Larkspur? Camelia?

Rohirrim
To which race of Middle Earth do you belong?

Something like that. I'm not really too worried about coming up with a good name for her. It's the king I'm not sure about.
And Igor is getting on my nerves.
That's "Eye-gore."
