New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

I have a colleague who wishes everyone a "Happy Turkey Murder Day" for Thanksgiving each year. She's a militant vegetarian.
Hehehe... I would say "And to you, too!" and then leave her a box full of giblets.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm.....murdered turkey.....
ROTFL! That is inspired!
Just give her your dazzling smile and say "Thanks! I'm looking forward to it!"
I'll start with the airing of grievances!
I got a lotta problems with you people!
I wonder if Snapfish has Festivus cards available.
"As coroner,
I'll vouch for her;
I've thoroughly examined her,
And she's not only merely dead,
She's really most sincerely dead."
I wasn't dead, I was cleaning up animal poo.
If you had something better to do than that, it obviously didn't involve the thread :~D
I was writing. Now I'm making dinner.
I'm home. I came home a while ago and went to read. I don't feel like doing anything.
We're watching The Professional. What an amazing movie.
I had a good day because I decided I needed to insert some interlude third-person POV scenes to get the plot actually rolling. Those were easier than where I was.
Hmmm. Just read about the movie on Netflix. Sounds interesting. I'm gonna put it on our queue!
Changing POV is always good. That's how I got excited about my current plot. I had the story from the villian's pov, and from his reluctant protege. But both of those were boring. Now I'm telling it from the pov of three different people, all powerless to stop the great calamity. I might hit 30K tonite.
It's just giving me a chance to figure out what's going on off-page. And use my snarky little FBI dude, Quincy Archer.
Well, annoying Freddie is still alive. I think I'll kill him off tomorrow.
