I'm sure there must be some kind of sugar-free egg nog on the market by now, freedumb.
If not, here's a recipe I googled up for ya. :-D
INGREDIENTS:
1 (1 ounce) package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
5 cups nonfat milk
1 gram aspartame sweetener (I'd use Splenda)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon rum flavored extract
DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together sugar free vanilla pudding mix, nonfat milk, sweetener, ground cinnamon, dash of nutmeg , and rum extract. Mix these very well with a wire whisk for at least 2 minutes. If this is too thick, add more milk and sweetener.

Oh, yes,
everything with my mother was a power struggle!
And yet ... and yet ... she would fix eggs any old way, if I would only eat them. For a while, I would only eat them scrambled, drowning in ketchup. Then I would only eat them deviled ... she rolled with that, made deviled eggs every morning for two or three weeks. Paprika, and everything.
Same thing with milk. For a while, I would only drink it flavored, when I would drink it at all. In the winter, I would drink cocoa, and that was that. And she went with all that. It was the eating that was important to her, not the how it was prepared.
However, I would obligingly devour cucumbers, spinach, green beans, collards, turnip greens, Swiss chard, and lettuce anytime and in any manner she chose to prepare such things. I would sneak cucumbers-in-vinegar the way other kids would sneak candy (still do), and eat leftover greens before they got into the refrigerator.
There's nothing like collards with ketchup ...!
