Hispanics wouldn't call her "Frannie" unless they were Americanized.
Depending on her age and station in life, most Cubans would either call her by her full name or take the latter part of the first name and shorten it to something cute like "CiCi".

They're doing great... I cleared the room, put the dogs back with ecurbh (who is still sleeping) and the cat outside so they can run and play freely. Trying to get pictures, but they're really fast :~D

Tweek has settled down, she plays and runs around with the black one, Pippin. She still gets scared and hisses at the dogs, and us if the dogs are near, but she's fine. Pippin, though, is just fearless enough to get herself in trouble. I still don't let them romp around the dogs, the dogs are very gentle when we're holding the kittens, but get a kitten moving fast across the floor, and they look an awful lot like game. :~D
