Actually, there is a point; it validated YOU, even if your parents don't care.
Well, now that's true.
Like the deal with Sam's...I didn't do anything wrong and was able to prove it. But in proving it, look what happened. If I hadn't proved it, my parents would have gone on thinking ill of me and my Sam's card would have been paid off. As it is, my parents STILL think ill of me and I still owe my Sam's card!
I almost think I shoulda kept my mouth shut...since their opinion of me doesn't change.
