New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

You'd have to.... fast growing ones. It's contraband.
I bet they stood and looked at the driveway in disbelief.
"Honey.... someone stole the gate..."
Don't be so judgemental. You have to think what it must be like, growing up gateless, seeing those people with their ornate gates just rubbing it in your face - it's no wonder.
What the...??!

You could install some hobgoblins by your dry stream. :)
Heh! Makes my stolen mailbox look like a minor prank!
Was it a fancy mailbox? Maybe it's a nationwide caper to decorate a new mansion on the cheap.
Oh - those are fantastic!
I personally like the pygmies:

I'd love to have a tribe of them lurking in the trees.
I wouldn't ~steal~ one...
I bet doughboy would love that. ;~D
Dang! I was within one post of the Precious and didn't notice it AGAIN!
Heh. More likely they'd scare his chil'run.
Just like Legolas got to Gimli and got him all artsy!
No, you didn't! Are you going to be able to make the RockyMountMoot next summer? I was mentioning it to SirKit the other day, and said something like, "Since you weren't going to go..", and he said "Who said I wasn't going?" So, we'll have to figure out who, if anyone, is going. When was it supposed to be, anyway?
I'm not sure where we left things with RockyMoot.
The timing is a bit tricksey. Might be even moreso dependin' on what happens jobwise.
Now that's just creepy! Looks like the turkey vultures that were on top of a neighbor's house a few weeks ago.
Man, am I sold on these Neovita orthopedic things. My feet feel great!
I had to wear a 'corrective' orthopedic walking around for 15 mins, gradually building up the time I can tolerate it. Then I wear a 'retainer' orthopedic for the rest of the day. The retainer feels great. I can sit here awhile at the computer, get back up and just walk like a normal person. It used to be excrutiating to get up after sitting.
I'm hopeful that I can get back to being a lot more active than I've felt like being lately. I'd like to start daily walks, but it's just been too painful, and felt like I was doing more damage.
