New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Heh!
Well, as stressful as it was...and it did cause me a bit of anxiety...it was over with quick and now I'm hungry!
I could go for a caramel apple...but alas.
Maybe they'll have caramel apples at the Church party!
I hope so! :-)
Why is the Toaster out to kill him? I don't think I have heard what your story is about yet.
It's an eeeeevil Toaster!
Ah! Well that would certainly explain it. Sounds Resonable
I got the chickens in...Halloween night, no tellin' what some freak might try to do.
I've got the scary sounds playing on the boombox down the hill. The blinking eyes set in the yard (will turn them on in 15 min when it's good and dark...). I've got the bowl filled with tooth-rotting candy and my Club Gitmo shirt on.
Bring on the greedy beggars.
I always thought it would be nice to set up a quaint little arrangement of hay bales, corn husks and pumpkins...pretty fall flower arrangement on it...right by the front door.
Then I'd dress up like some bloody corpse and crouch down behind it and wait for the little sweeties to knock. Just as they get their candy I'd LEAP OUT AT THEM and just scare the ever-lovin' out of them.
But like I say...might cause a kid some emotional trauma and a parent might come back and shoot me.
Chocolate...
:-)
You... have interesting issues, don't you?
Heh heh heh!
We love to do that around our house...startle each other, I mean. I've hid in the closet before while Steve was in the shower...he comes in, sits on the side of the bed with a big thing of baby powder and starts to powder his feet. I leap out of the closet shrieking and he frosts half the room with baby powder.
It's a riot.
A precious, wonderful, lovable nut! LOL!
Well, at least I have Guido down ...
And no trick-or-treaters. Lazy little rats. The longer they wait, the less candy will be left for 'em. Hah!
Well, it's just now 4:45pm here, so I don't expect them for about an hour at least. But I expect Steve in just a bit, so I'm going to log off and get a pot of coffee going.
Will post pictures in the morning!
I was trying to make a funny--it evidently fell, very, very flat!!
